Author’s Notes:MACLEOD Capitalization
I have capitalized MACLEOD as Macleod throughout these stories for the following reasons:
in the series, when Ian, Duncan’s father, is credited in the end credits (with the character’s name), it is Macleod; and the only time we see Duncan’s own handwriting of his name (in Prodigal Son) is appears more like MaCleod. Besides, it’s easier to type with only one upper case letter.Languages Used
The characters in these stories speak in a variety of languages, mostly expressed in English, but sometimes in the appropriate language. In most cases, the meaning is apparent. My knowledge of these languages varies from minimal to conversational; if I’ve made any terrible mistakes, please let me know. Only some of the phrases from the more obscure languages are translated.
